What we collect
When you use Relight, we may store the media files you upload (photos and videos) along with an anonymised session hash. We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information — because there are no accounts.
Why we collect it
We build a library of underwater footage for DiveDeck editorial and promotional use. Only images that pass our internal quality gates (resolution, file type, and underwater colour profile) are stored. Most uploads are processed and returned to you without being stored at all.
What we do with it
By ticking the terms checkbox before uploading, you grant DiveDeck and SignalWorks a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, edit, and publish your uploaded media without attribution. This is clearly stated at the point of upload — no surprises.
You self-certify that you own the content you upload. If you don't own it, don't upload it.
Cookies and tracking
Relight does not use cookies beyond what's required for the session. We do not run third-party tracking scripts. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Data retention
Stored media is retained indefinitely as part of the DiveDeck media library. The anonymised session hash is stored alongside the media for deduplication purposes only — it cannot be used to identify you personally.
